Even though I missed being in class with you today, I did have a very uplifting time at the life celebration I attended today!

For everything you have missed, you have gained something else, and for everything you gain, you lose something else.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Read this quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson. Can you relate this quote to the Robert Frost poem, "The Road Not Taken?" Explain. What about things you might have missed....what do you think this means?

I think this statement is like the poem by Rober Frost because in each poem there is an action and a reaction.

i think that this quote means that.... everyone should be themselves and not do something just because everyone else does it. you should just take the road less traveled and see what is at the end....it could be better than you thought.
