I want you to think about the word rigor. Do you know what rigor is, and how it would apply to your grades and the work we do in class? If you don't know, look it up in the dictionary. Do you believe our class is rigorous? Is that a good thing or a bad thing!? Be sure and tell why you feel that way!
Remember what Harriet Beecher Stowe said, "The truth is the kindest thing we can give." When you think about your progress report, remember that. You might not like what the progress report says, but it is the truth, right? In the long run, it will help you become an even better student than you already are!
Remember to come to the MC for class tomorrow! We're doing the SRI for the last time this year!
