I think the quote means that if you can't be nice or do good things, you can at least tell the truth because that's a kind and easy thing to do without like doing something extraordinary! (thanks to stems I know that means beyond ordinary) ;D
My favorite picture was the one of the hurt person because it gives us a connection. We may not get along with other countries and places and think they are horrible but from that picture we see that they go through hard things and tragedies too and we aren't that different after all.... think about it!
