I do think norms are important because without them your group would just be disorganized. My group works well together because we all are friends and we try to seperate the work equally. If someone isn't participating we will just keep working and eventually tell them they need to help. I think our group is productive but I think we can be more productive. Some norms we do have are that we all give each other a chance to say what they think about a question. If we don't understand what the other person says we ask them nicely what they mean and why.
