i think these budget cuts are ridiculous. Dps has done nothing wrong and should only be rewarded with raised budgets. not lowered. At voyager, it is costing dps $400,000 just to add a 9th grade. All of those kids who are going there are districted to regular public schools but for some reason aren't going. Dps should not be spending money on people who are scared to go to regular high schools. they should just have to deal with it rather than costing dps almost another half a million dollars off of their budget.
